BONC Privacy Notice

Introduction

The UK GDPR sets out seven principles, the first principle states that an organisation must process personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to individuals. Those individuals have the right to be informed about the collection and use of their personal data, and by doing so, you are being transparent under the UK GDPR.

This information is usually set out in a privacy notice which should be readily available at the time personal data is collected from an individual. It’s a document that explains in simple format why an organisation collects and processes personal data.

This BONC Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use and store your personal information. Personal information means any information that could identify you.

We want everyone who is part of us, supports us, or who comes to us for support, to feel confident and comfortable with how we look after your personal information.

  • Legitimate interest to maintain our accounts and records, and to pursue matters that are in BONCs interests.

  • Explicit consent of the members so that we can keep you informed about meetings, news, events and activities.

5. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be kept strictly confidential and won't be shared with other members or organisations unless it aligns with BONC's legitimate interests and is processed fairly and proportionately.
